More About Kali Larsen
Kali Larsen attended law school at Queen’s University and graduated with a JD in 2018. Whilst in law school she was deeply involved with the Queen’s Law Refugee Support Program as well as a founding member of the Queen’s University chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and acted as the News Editor of the Queen’s law newspaper. She also spent a summer semester in England studying Public International Law.
Kali completed her articles at a boutique immigration and employment law firm in Toronto and was called to the bar of Ontario in 2019 before returning home to British Columbia to be closer to her family. She joined Stevenson, Luchies & Legh in 2019 where she practices primarily in the area of immigration law at the Vancouver office. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and a non-practising member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Prior to law school, Kali received her BA from the University of Victoria where she studied Political Science and Religious Studies and was regularly involved with student volunteer initiatives as well as attending Model United Nations conferences. Although she had been interested in law since she was young, it was her studies at the intersection of politics and religion that sparked her interest in immigration law specifically.
In her spare time, Kali enjoys baking, creative writing, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved cat, Cheddar.
